Terms of Use

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of VeliAlertand this website. By using the app or this site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app or this site.

Use at your own risk

VeliAlert is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. An alarm and SOS app depends on things outside our control — your device’s state, its network connection, Apple’s own push delivery, and iOS itself — and we cannot guarantee that any alarm, notification, or SOS alert will always be delivered or will always fire on time. Don’t rely on VeliAlert as your only safeguard for anything safety-critical or time-critical; keep a backup alarm or plan.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or this site.

Subscriptions

The app’s optional “remote control” feature is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store. Subscription purchases are governed by Apple’s own Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which takes precedence over these terms for anything relating to billing, renewal, refunds, and cancellation of a subscription. See the FAQ on our home page for how to cancel.

Acceptable use

Don’t use VeliAlert’s remote-control link, or any part of the app or its server, to harass, spam, or send unwanted alerts to any device other than your own. Any remote-control link is scoped to a single device and is your responsibility to keep private; revoke it immediately if you believe it has leaked.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or this site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
